A Merry Christmas and a big thanks to all of you for supporting our Christmas party last Saturday, Dec. 12, at Citimotors, Makati!

Did you know that there were 135 people from our district  in attendance during the party?  There were also many Rotaractors from the Cavite area who were able to join us, and some of our Rotaractors from District 3830 (Rac PL Muntinlupa) and D3820 (RAC San Pedro, RAC Sta. Rosa South)  were able to drop by and meet with their sister clubs from our district.

There were also a lot of prizes given away, with many Rotaractors going home with gifts. Many, many fun things also happened, and we got to discover some of the unique talents of our Rotaractors during the “Rotaract’s Got Talent”.

Of course, all of these would not have been possible without the collaboration of our district’s Rotaractors and Rotarians. So from the bottom of our hearts, we express our GRATITUDE to the following:

The dynamic Rotaract District Committee  for  leading the preparations for the  Christmas Party, especially Ruby Ann Dayday (RAC OLR) and Clarice San Jose (RAC Malate) for  handling the programs, Gold Uy (RAC Manila) for taking care of the solicitation and registration,  Ramil Modesto (RAC CEPZ) for preparing the shirts and materials, Karen Canimo (RAC Manila Bay) and Christian Amador (RAC SIC), Jen Rosario (RAC Bacoor) for handling the games and food, and Romy Mejia and Iggy Salazar (RAC STI Makati) for taking care of the logistics and documentation, and for their assistance during the program.

RDC Area Rep Mike Labarda and RAC Pasay Millennium for sponsoring the beverages.

Rtr. Jeff Odiviar (RAC CEZ) for assisting in the set-up and clean-up during the Christmas party.

IPP Agnes Mampusti (RAC OLR) for serving as emcee of the Christmas party.

Our Past District Rotaract Representatives, PDRR Robert Sunga (who also served as our guest speaker during the district meeting), PDRR Berly Magdayao,  PDRR Heidy Elizan, and PDRR Oliver Alvarez for joining us in the meeting and in the Christmas Party.

RAC STI Makati , with the support of RAC Manila Bay,  for hosting the Rotaract district meeting before the Christmas party.

RAC Manila, led by Pres. Tiffany Go, and RAC OLR, led by Pres. Jem Dela Pena for sponsoring the Christmas party games.

RAC PSBA, led by Pres. Peter Ingel,  for the jaw-dropping dance performance of their members.

RAC Malate, led by Pres. Marissa Yecla, for the wonderful song numbers of their member, Rtr. Wilmer.

Participants of the ROTARACT’S GOT  TALENT  for daring to show their hidden talents, which surprised and delighted everyone.

MOVE ON Philippines, CJ’s Zerox, PP Magic Ong (RC Bagumbayan), and IPDRR Charlie Chua (RAC Manila) for sponsoring the raffle prizes.

Our very accommodating SDG Cesar Genato for giving us the privilege of using Citimotors’ Penthouse as the venue of our  Christmas Party.

Our hardworking  District Rotaract Chairman Gabe Trias (RC CEPZ) for  assisting us in our preparations, providing the equipment used during the Christmas party,  sending  text reminders,  and sponsoring the mountain bike which was raffled off during the party.

Our generous Senior Deputy Governor Ernie Yuyek (RC Panday Pira) for  his guidance during the Christmas party and for sponsoring the cash prize and food.

Most importantly, our loving and gracious District Governor Connie Beltran  (RC Pasay Silangan) for her continued support and guidance to our Rotaractors, as well as her  generous contribution to our Christmas party’s food and raffle prizes.

May we continue to be active in our district events, and show the same commitment and enthusiasm in all our activities.  Just like our theme, “Rotaract Stars: Celebrating a Bright Christmas”, we wish that all of you could continue to serve as hope and guide to your respective families, schools, companies, and communities  not just this Christmas, but even in the coming days.

On behalf of the Rotaract District Committee,  have a wonderful Christmas and a great New Year! See you in our next activities!
