Registration started at 8 o clock in the morning and the last championship game played out a little past 4 o clock in the afternoon. A long drawn out tournament,(except for minor glitches here and there), a truly  exhilaratingly successful event !

A very very big THANK YOU goes to our Charter President, CP Ruben Siao, (also the New Gen Day overall chairman), who did not scrimp on the cost of staging this event for the District (the sky is the limit as long as it is relevant); our Immediate Past President, IPP Pol Torres, (New Gen Day vice-chair), who did all the cajoling and coercing the members of the DISAC (District Interact School Advisers Council) to encourage their respective Interact clubs to sent competitive players for the event; our Past President, PP Arthur Sy, (Interact Badminton chairman), for playing the Devils Advocate and pinpointing the logistical needs and preparations necessary, and emceeing the event; our Past President PP Buenaventura Glory for the physical logistical preparation of the foods, awards, ads, small knick knacks and many others; our singing member, Ms. Cherry Lou Monding for leading the national anthem; members Manny Tan, Philip Co, Jeffrey Yu and a host of other members who in their own special way helped the Club staged the event. The Technical Committee that oversees the nitty gritty part of the whole Tournament; The Just-In-Case Red Cross people on standby the whole day for any medical needs (we had zero player related injuries).

THANK YOU goes out to my CLASSMATES who came to grace the occasion. Rudolph, Aris, Larry, Tony, Kat, Maya. Henry, Cherry, Nick, Diony, Art and some whom I might have missed, THANK YOU all very much. I love you all. To Magic Ong, who provided the bottomless drinking water for the players and spectators alike, THANK YOU. To District Rotaract Chair PP Gabe Trias and Interact Chair Vilma Rico, who grace the occasion and gave the players a pep talk, THANK YOU And to the District Officers who came too, Thank you all.

Lastly, Thank you to our ever so beautiful, ever so gorgeous District GOVERNOR, Mme. Connie Beltran, who, despite having to wake up so early for the Rotarun, came and gave out the awards to all the winners of the game. THANK YOU GOVERNOR. More power to you !!
