District 3810 Emergency Relief Operation

Last September 28, 2011, right after typhoon Pedring battered NCR especially Manila which experienced the highest storm surge in the history of Manila Bay, the District Community Service Team of the Programs group launched an emergency relief operation in Baseco, Tondo and we were able to distribute packed goods, bottled water, used clothing and cooked food of 2 cups of rice and chicken/pork adobo to about 1,200 evacuees. What's amazing is that we were able to launch the relief operation in less than 24 hours! Rotarians are also magicians! Truly in unity we can move mountains!
