ORGANIZED & CHARTERED: October 4, 2010

It was in September 20, 2010 that the Department of Labor & Employment (DOLE) led by Provincial Director for Cavite Milagros R. Mata met with Rotary Club of Cavite Export Processing Zone led by Global President Ding Arias to arrange a partnership deal to assist in DOLE's livelihood project for the displaced employees of Cavite Apparel Corp. Past President Gabe Trias introduced the organization of a Rotary Community Corps to specifically carry out the management and operation of the said proposed project.

Two days later, Global President Ding Arias and President-Elect Norma Valeroso signed the Project Proposal to proceed with the partnership with DOLE. On October 4, 2010, D3810 District Governor Tranquil Salvador III signs the Organizational Form of the newly organized Rotary Community Corps of Cavite Apparel which was later submitted to Rotary International for chartering. The Charter Certificate was then received by RC CEPZ on November 20, 2010 and presented to the members during the handover of the fund granted by DOLE on April 28, 2010.

The first project provided by DOLE for the displaced workers of Cavite Apparel triggered the formation of the Rotary Community Corps of Cavite Apparel.
