Historical Background of Blessed Ville Special
School Foundation, Inc.
In the midst of “Luksuhin Ilaya” of Alfonso, Cavite a “little
tree” started to grow conspicuously for years and it started
to show tiny buds, then some flowers popping out until it
finally bore delicious fruits to taste.
In April 2002, Mrs. Villa M. Aure, because of her love and
affection to her autistic – deaf child, conceptualized the
possibility of putting up a charitable institution that would
teach the children with special needs in their community
because during those times such institutions were rare in
Southern Cavite area.
The proposal then was brought to Department of Education for
approval and finalization. The institution was named Blessed
Ville which signifies “Blessed Place” as the name itself
provides love and blessings for the handicapped.
It was started with seven mentally handicapped children and
she occupied the terrace of her house for these children.
After a year, the number of special children increased; from 7
turned into 23. Mrs. Aure then occupied her living room into 2
News about quality education spread like they had wings.
Enrollment rose and she decided to train her two daughters to
assist her in this great challenge.
This interesting historical story refers to the Blessed Ville
Special School Foundation, Inc. (BVSSFI) where special
children learn to talk, listen and develop their maximum
potential. It is a non-stock, non-profit charitable
institution, approved by Securities and Exchange Commission
with SEC Reg. No. CN200511592 on the 8th of November 2007 and
recognized by the Department of Education on the 13th of
August 2009, under No. SPED-004, series of 2008. A proof that
BVSSFI, though a small school, offers special quality service
for children with special needs.
At present, the institution has 50 physically and mentally
handicapped children whose age ranges from 4 to 19 years old.
They are being taught by our five (5) expert special education
teachers and speech language therapists. Blessed Ville Special
School Foundation is merely depending on a very low
miscellaneous fees and donations for handicapped children’s
basic and educational needs.
For these ten years of existence God has blessed the school
with much development. And the school with her steadfast
principle continuous to serve these special children with much
commitment and passion for their welfare and future.

To educate and help a child to grow – intellectually,
physically, emotionally, spiritually and socially, and to
become normal, happy and productive members of society.
To create an environment that enhances learning, recognizes
each child’s talents, positive points and qualities.
Blessed Ville Special School Foundation, Inc. believes that
every child with special needs has a right to an education
which is suitable to his needs. It is the utmost
responsibility of BVSSFI, to promote the right of the child to
develop his holistic needs and develop his full potential.
BVSSFI shall aim to develop the maximum potential of the child
with special needs to enable him to become self-reliant and
shall be geared towards providing him with the opportunities
for a full and happy life.
BVSSFI specific objectives shall be the development and
maximization of learning competencies as well as the
inculcation of values to make the learners with special needs
a useful and effective member of society.
