As a firm believer on the saying that “Conservation of natural resources is the key to the future,” and Tree Planting is one act of saving our mother earth, The Rotary Club of Rosario and Rotary Club of Cavite East conducted a joint project with the  partnership and helping hands of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints to plant mangrove trees during the Earth Day Celebration on April 22, 2013, an annual observation on which events are held worldwide to demonstrate support for environmental protection. April 22 was designated as International Mother Earth Day by a consensus resolution adopted by the United Nations in 2009. Earth Day is now coordinated globally by the Earth Day Network, and is celebrated in more than 192 countries every year. This year's theme is: ”PLANT A TREE AND SAVE TOMORROW.”...PbP Danny Soleta, Rotary Club of Rosario
