The awardees must undergo a three day live-in Leadership seminar on April 6-7, 2006, at the Casa Marinero in Intramuros, after which they will be fitted with a luncheon formal awarding on April 8, 2006 at the Manila Hotel. All winners will receive trophies and medals, and they will be joined by other RYLA awardees from Australia and Malaysia during the entire seminars.

RYLA participants receive training from successful professionals, with special emphasis on the importance of ethics and community service. They often become leaders in their schools and communities and in their professional pursuits.

Applicants will be interviewed and selected by a nominating Rotary club. The chosen candidate will be entered as the official nominee of the club who will then be screened and interviewed by a panel of judges appointed by the district. The search for this year's winners and awardees will be chosen by the district on March 3, 2006. The results of the selection will be formally announced on a later date.

The nomination form must be submitted to the respective nominating Rotary Club on or before March 3, 2006. The nominating club must then forward the nomination to the District Secretariat.
