Before the official bells of July 1, 2025 rang in the Rotary Year, Rotary International District 3810 had already been quietly and powerfully writing the first chapters of its newest story — one defined by synergy, strengthened by service, and rooted in a singular, resounding call: Unite for Good.
Guided by the visionary leadership of District Governor-Elect Mary Mei V. Rodrigo, the incoming leaders of the district — aptly named the “United Chosen Presidents” — embarked on an extraordinary pre-term journey unlike any in recent memory. Rather than wait for formalities or mandated transitions, this group chose to lead early, bond early, and grow together in both heart and purpose.
From the bustling streets of Manila to the coastal corners of Cavite, Pasay, and Occidental Mindoro, leaders convened across a series of intentional and immersive engagements designed not just to prepare, but to transform. Each event was a building block, carefully crafted to deepen fellowship, sharpen leadership, and ignite shared vision among the incoming Presidents and District Officers of Rotary Year 2025–2026.
It began with the spirited First Presidents-Elect Fellowship on October 15, 2024, where formal introductions gave way to authentic connection — a night of laughter, storytelling, and commitment to collaboration. In December, the momentum carried into a festive Christmas Party, blending holiday cheer with a deeper sense of Rotary family. February’s ManCom Team Building at Club Balí Isabel in Talisay, Batangas, stripped away titles and built trust through challenges and reflections, uniting the leadership team through shared vulnerability and joy.
March ushered in two cornerstone formation events: the AG-DTTS, which equipped Assistant Governors and District Officers with practical knowledge and strategic insight, and the transformative PELS 2 in Clark, which not only trained Presidents-Elect, but empowered them to clarify their purpose, strategize for impact, and affirm their individual and collective legacies. The journey culminated in May with the TRF Grant Management Seminar, which drew a record-breaking 300+ participants and underscored the District’s readiness to launch bold, well-funded, and sustainable projects for communities in need.
These gatherings were more than just dates on a calendar. They were declarations of commitment. Each touchpoint became a vessel through which the “United Chosen Presidents” found their rhythm — not as isolated club leaders, but as one movement with shared values, dreams, and direction.
In choosing to walk together before the Rotary year officially began, District 3810’s leadership team affirmed what Unite for Good truly means: it is not a slogan, but a living principle — expressed in moments of humility, mutual learning, laughter, reflection, and readiness.
This is how Rotary Year 2025–2026 began — not on July 1, but long before, in hotel halls, retreat centers, breakout rooms, and dinner tables, where leaders met not just to train, but to trust. And through that trust, District 3810 forged something enduring: a united force of chosen leaders, poised to lead with heart, and ready to serve with purpose.
